Stake Sisters in White
Our temple day is just 3 weeks away and we are hoping to see many sisters come to the temple. Last year we enjoyed this day with over 100 sisters from our stake, this year we hope to have that many and more.
Please announce this special event to your sisters for the next 3 weeks in relief society opening exercises, and spread the word to sisters serving in primary and young women's.
Remember to mention - those who would like to can participate in baptisms with a limited use temple recommend at 10am (go straight to the baptistry), at 10:30 we will meet in the assembly room to hear from a member of the temple presidency and then attend the 11am endowment session.
The temple has asked that we provide priesthood in the baptistry so we are asking each ward to have 1 brother to full fill that request (tell them they are invited to our luncheon afterwards :)
We need an idea of how many sisters will be doing baptisms, please email that to me as soon as you know.
After the session we will have a luncheon at the stake center behind the temple with a very short program. We look forward to this special time in the temple, please encourage the sisters to get their recommends renewed if necessary.
Sisters thank you for your service, I know this is a demanding call on your time, on your family, and on your heart. If I could say one thing that I wish you could truly believe is that you are in this position because this is where the Lord needs you to be! This is a special time in your life and soon it will be over, (don't wish it away) enjoy it and it will bring you blessings you can treasure forever!

Graham Stake Women's Conference
Hello Sisters!
We're doing it again! The 2013 Graham Stake Women's Conference will be held on Saturday, March 9th. We know this seems far away, but we want to start spreading the word. Our theme this year will be Scatter Sunshine, and our scripture is Psalm 100.
We are also excited to announce that along with the Conference Blog, we have a Facebook page! We hope this will help us keep our sisters more informed. We are working hard to make this conference another wonderful experience and will update our blog and FB page as information is finalized. So stay tuned!

October Presidency Message
As fall is quickly approaching I'm drawn to the thought of a leaf. What does a leaf mean to us? The first thing I think of is turning over a new leaf in our lives, something we want to improve on. There are so many things I can think of that I want to improve on, but the list is undaunting. We can "turn over a new leaf" in areas of our lives: physical, spiritual, intellectual, and social. My former seminary teacher, Bro. Robinson, taught me that we all need to live a well balanced life. He related it to a square. He said, "the spiritual side, is most often neglected, and little thought of when in reality, it is the most important." For myself, that's one that I believe I need to work on the most! He also related a formula with a triangle. Each of the 3 points on a triangle stand for prayer, study and service. These three things develop our testimony and strengthen it. We are all in different places in our lives, but we all can improve and grow to achieve a well balanced life! Choose something good for you in one of these areas and continue to do those important points of the triangle.
