                   "Deliciously Decadent Desserts"

We had such a wonderful response to this last year we are doing it again!!!

Presidents, we would like to ask you for your help again with this.  Would you please ask 1 or 2 sisters in your ward who love to cook and try new things to bring a dessert, enough to serve 24 would be great.  We are looking forward to the wonderful messages that will be given at the broadcast and having time to mingle with each of you as we eat the yummy desserts!

Nov. 3rd:  Graham Stake R.S. Temple Day
We will be meeting at the temple in the assembly room at 10:30 a.m. and then attending the 11 o’clock session.  Anyone who would like can do baptisms at 10:00 a.m. in the baptistry.  Please encourage your new members and sisters who are not endowed to attend.
After this we will go to the chapel behind the temple (please note this is not the one we were at last year), for lunch and a short program.
Please announce this often to encourage sisters to plan ahead for temple recommend renewals or new temple recommends.  It is always so wonderful to be in the temple with each other.

167 Closure in Renton - August 10 - 13

Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes such as I-5 and SR 516 and should expect detours and delays when passing through Renton. WSDOT requests your help to get the word out about the closure to your friends and family. We encourage you to forward this email to your contacts or direct them to our website. A downloadable flier with additional project information is also available on our website. We invite you to print and post this information. If you work at or own a local business, we encourage you to contact your customers ahead of time to alert them to the closure and encourage them to plan extra time for trips to your store or office.

SR 516 a good option
While SR 167 is closed, drivers headed to or from Seattle, Bellevue, and other areas north of Renton are encouraged to follow SR 516 to I-5.

SR 520 closed
Crews will also close SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard and I-405 during the weekend of August 11-12.  More information for that closure is available here.
